"Storm", by Brigid Kemmerer (Review + Dream Cast)

So, for this first post I chose a book I read about a year ago and that became dear to me, as well as the rest of the series (especially "Spark"). I really like Brigid Kemmerer's writing style and just had a few problems with the book, but all related to the story itself as you'll read ahead.

I have to say, I didn't have much expectations, especially because I read it without looking for other reviews and decided to take a shot - supernatural stuff was needed, I was sick and tired of contemporary romance.

A won bet, I would say!  Becca and Chris were a very sweet couple, even though their time together was too little for my taste (only at the end they realize that they like each other). The plot was very interesting and kept me completely hooked up on this book, every time I could I'd read a bit more and was unable to stop!

Most of the YA books start to lose their interest as the story evolves, but that was not what happened with this one. A twist here, a turn there and secrets - what more could you ask for?

I absolutely adored Gabriel and Becca, two big badasses! The minus point was the time the main couple did not spend together and that Hunter did... And Quinn, she deserved to appear more during the book. But don't let that stop you from reading: it was a great way to start the series and it only gets better - plus, the characters that already had a book continue to appear frequently and you never get tired.

To finish, it is, without a doubt, a book I'd recommend to all those YA-Paranormal lovers out there and people that simply love a good and entertaining story.

This would be my cast:
Mitch Hewer as Hunter
Nina Dobrev as Becca
Chace Crawford as Chris

Emile Hirch as Michael

Francisco Lachowski as Gabriel/Nick (the twins)
